Install Beep

Two minutes, once. Chrome and Edge only let a browser extension install from their own store or from a folder, so these four steps put Beep in from the folder next to this file. When the store approves him, this becomes one click.

Keep the Beep folder where it is. The browser reads him from there every time it starts. Documents is a good home for it; the Downloads folder gets cleared.

Beep is installed in this browser. Click his face by the address bar on any page.

Open the extensions page

Pages cannot open it for you, so copy the address and paste it into the bar at the top of the browser, then press Enter.

Turn on Developer mode

The switch is at the top right in Chrome, bottom left in Edge.

Load unpacked, and choose the Beep folder

Click Load unpacked, then pick the Beep folder that sits next to this file. Beep appears in the list.

Pin him

Click the puzzle-piece icon by the address bar and pin Beep. His face is now a button on every page: Bring Beep to this page, or Keep Beep on every page.
